a student's perspective

I'm always entertained (and flattered!) when students include me in their Journal thoughts and stories. Here's one student's thoughts from a day during the second week of PE:

"Tag"

Today is Tuesday and I already have PE Class for one week. Miss Goshulak is a smart teacher with enough teaching experience. Before every class begins, she will ask all of us to run for laps, and every day’s laps will add. We all know she did this is for our fitness test. If we do not practice, when the fitness test is coming, almost people in our class will not pass I believe. And we also do stretching after we run. One reason is to relax and to readjust our breaths. Another reason must be to warm up our body. That means prior to physical exercise or a sport competition to make sure we will not hurt ourselves when we are in class’s exercise. Everything she did shows me she is a good teacher. PE class is the most exciting class because of games. We played Tag today. Before I got PE class, I never play Tag in so many different ways. An easy game with the rules that is changed is very attractive. PE class will have more fun I think.
