Oh man, sleep is so nice. This week (ok, really only for the past 2 days) I've been enjoying going to bed early and waking up early. For reals! The other night I actually went to bed at about 8:40pm and must have fallen sleep not 5 minutes later with the light still on and my book toppled over. I actually woke up at about 2:30am because apparently my body is used to only getting 6 hours of sleep and then I forced myself back to bed until 5:30. I seriously CAN'T REMEMBER the last time I went to bed this early - maybe jetlagged?? Kinda great though waking up that early. I always thought those people were CRAZY (ya, I'll probably still tell my friend who always wakes up at 5:30 that she's crazy) but when the sun is up and I have more time it's fantastic! This morning I had my clock set back to it's regular 6am time but for some reason my body was ready to jump out of bed at 5:40 - so I did.
Another thing that getting up early is good for is talking to people back home. I have this bad habit of turning on my computer almost as soon as I wake up to check messages. Not always such a good habit but it's so CONVENIENT because of the time difference! And I always do love getting messages :)
Other benefits of waking up early: I've been able to have more quality time with God, I actually put on make-up, I've gotten to school a little earlier AND generally I'm more awake! haha
So, tomorrow is Friday... what shall I do?
