From the mouths of my students...

I have a love-hate relationship with marking students' journals. I HATE them because I get to mark 104 of them and it takes time, time, time which just makes me want to procrastinate like in the good ol' days of university (it still happens!). But I LOVE reading them (at times) because the girls write some really funny things - though usually not on purpose! So I thought I'd share some of their beautiful writing with you! Enjoy ;)

“I’m in puberty, it’s the best period of growing. I need much more nutrients. So I eat variety of food and eat less junk food.”

“I think I am in Pubertas so I must eat many good foods to make me health”

“The last way to stop our soccer is use our chest. That is the most difficult ways for girls to do it! Very dangerous! But, who are we? We are the students that are taught by Ms. Goshulak!!! We were so brave and confident! We can overcome the difficulties such as this. So, we tried our best to practice the dangerous skill, and did a very good job!”

“The food’s savory smell attract a lot of my classmates and also the vice principal Mrs. Williams and my dear Ms. Goshulak… because Ms. Goshulak really like to eat Harbin Sausage I will bring more of them to her. I hope she will like it! J

“This morning I borrowed a suit from my roommate… When Miss. Goshulak came, she found that I and another girl who is also from our school magazine club didn’t wear sports clothes. She was a little worried that if we tow could do sports or run as usual or not. In order to not make our teacher feel bad, we two began to run around the court for one lap. We made a plan to run really hard to prove that our suit didn’t influence our activities. However, it did work!”

“I love soccer. Oh, by the way, I remember Ms. Goshulak teach me the skill, how to play soccer better. Is…… knock somebody (who is your opponent). I will remember all the time.”

“Then I skip in the field, I jump, jump, and jump like a kangaroo, it’s fantastic, and I do it one hundred and twenty. Oh, it’s an amazing number.”

“And when we taught teacher, I felt I had more knowledge than teacher in some way. So, in class I should be more brave. Teachers are not terrible, they also have something they don’t know.”

“I would like to work in the cafeteria of a school. Because learning to cook is definitely cool and it is also very useful when I become a housewife in the future.”

“Ms. Goshulak, I want to go to the bathroom. Maybe I will be a little bit late.”

“I want to go to university in UK. That’s because I think the education in UK will be better than others and England is a empire country and the university is empire.”
