WOW! Friday was a fantastic last day of classes. Yes it was almost a week ago now, and after SITTING at a desk and computer for the past 4 days marking and writing report cards, along with other duties, I am SO GLAD I do not have a desk job all day. Dang! I finally had to tell my legs to settle down and accept the fact that they would be doing nothing for a few days – other than the jumping jacks or the few circles I ran around the desks in my office after I couldn’t bare sitting any longer.
Sigh…. OK, so YES, the last day of classes. I decided to take one of my PE classes on a “Beach Run” for our last class. They requested it actually, which is what I planned to tell my other classes if they asked J They are the most fun class, and I suspected they had some sneaky plan as well. After going over some guidelines when we got to the beach they informed me that they had made a plan of their own for our time at the beach. I was instructed to close my eyes and be led by a student to find my surprise. It was a soccer ball that they had all signed and a book with their pictures and special notes! So fantastic!! Then they made a circle and had me stand in the middle as they sang me a song about friends in chinese. And then I had to sing them a song as well. Check it out à
