EXCITABLE!!

I'm a pretty excitable person. Big things. Little things. Simple things. And if I'm excited I usually have a hard time NOT talking about whatever it is that I'm excited about.

But sometimes I get this excited happy feeling and I don't even remember why I'm excited. This used to happen a lot when I was on the pool deck lifeguarding by myself. There was always so much time to think and dream and plan... and somewhere along the way I would think of something that would get me excited, but then my thoughts would move on to something else and all I'd remember is "YEAH! I'm so excited!" So then I'd have to backtrack, and sometimes I'd remember why and sometimes not. Kinda funny and entertaining in itself.

Anyways, this happened again tonight. Sitting on the dark bus on the way home from a relaxing evening in town with my worship music in my ears, thinking "Yeah! Sooo good!" My feet couldn't stop moving to the music all the way home. As I racked my brain to figure out what specifically I could be so excited about this is what I came up with:

• A comfy marking spot at Starbucks
• Having dinner and connecting with two teachers I haven't talked with as much lately as I would have liked. Watching sweet videos from our universities and reminiscing.
• Speed shopping: a cheap shirt and tasty fruit
• A Grown-up decision with a good attitude
• Sweet song lyrics
• Oh! and I got given 3 free books today that look great!

So maybe it's a mix of those things. Who knows :) But overall a good evening!
